“Bathroom Mishaps,” 2007, Hands
For the “Hands” project, we were allowed to take any photographs, providing the subject matter were some form of hands. So, while strolling around a Halloween store, I found this disembodied arm with blood spatter on it and thought to myself, “This would make for a perfect subject for my photos.” This image combines my love for dark, macabre humor–as seen in many of the zombie films I watch, with an interesting play on angles and illusion through the use of the bathroom mirror.

I have always enjoyed this photo its well thought out the composition is great and the colors in the photo work great this pic makes me feel like it was taken in an crazy home i love it is so creepy and considering this was your first photo it really shows that you are a great artist with creative tactics and ideas.
this was the first picture that had myself mind-boggling because i couldnt really tell how it was possible for you to take a relfection of YOUR arm and in the picture you can ONLy see the part of your arm …
until i found out that it wasn’t real…it was a relief
This image is very mysteriously positioned and catches the attentions of many who quickly take a glance at it. makes people think twice about it…
When I first saw this picture, I didn’t even realize that the hand was not connected to a body. It was weird, but funny. It was really well thought out by the way the mirror, the floor squares, the sink and all the other aspects of the images played upon each other. When I thought of his images, this is the first one that comes to mind.
